Welcome to Part 1 of the Summer Contest, an joint challenge between the Artisan Craft and Stock galleries! We are very excited to bring this challenge to you and have been hammering out the organization for the past few months. Part 1 focuses on creation of stock and resources submissions. Part 2 focuses on crafting creations based off the stock submissions! We hope you will participate in both parts!

Part 1: The Challenge Themes:

We challenge you to create stock images using the following summery themes! Keep in mind your images will be used to inspire artisan craft pieces. Our themes are: BUTTERFLIES, FIREFLIES, ICE CREAM, PETS, and SUNSETS.

Rules:

• All stock submitted must adhere to deviantART guidelines for Stock and Resources:
• FAQ #217: What are "Stock and Resources" and can I use them in my submissions?
• FAQ #809: What are DeviantArt's stock image guidelines?
  
• All stock submitted cannot be premium content or an offsite download. Premade backgrounds and textures must have all resources used credited and the resources must be from valid sources. 
• All stock submitted must adhere to the themes. 
• One entry per person to either the Novice Category or the Intermediate/Advanced Category!
  
• All entries cannot contain mature content since this is open to all ages including younger deviants.

Deadline:

All stock entries must be submitted after July 1,2016. 

Deadline for stock entries to be submitted is July 31, 2016. 
Stock winners will be announced August 7, 2016.

How Do I Submit my Entry?

Submit your entry to the "Summer Contest 2016" folder at StockandResources. You may have to join the group if you are unable to submit.
