I'm in the midst of a group project (we just entered crunch time) so I'm a little behind on getting this feature out. As many of you guys have heard, Elandria's term as the stock and resources cv has ended. Lanny deserves all the love and best wishes since she is one of the cornerstones of the stock community, dispensing good advice, sharing awesome stock, and selecting lovely dd's.
First off, one of the ways you can show the love is by entering her contest!
Here's a few of my favorites from Lanny's gallery. If I could I'd put her entire gallery into this feature. Her stock is high quality and is one of the first things I pull up when I try to explain stock to people off the webs.

Eleven.. Cover Contest! CLOSED!
So, for as long as I can remember I've had access to the most incredible range of books, from novels, tall tales and everything in between; all of those I've read (and I'm sure you all agree) it's most frequently their covers you immediately think of when you hear their titles. It goes without saying that a picture tells a thousands words, and cover art, for that specific reason has to grab the reader by the eyeballs and hold their attention right through to the very last page in a yummy, captivating smorgasbord of plot teasers, incredible characters and dreamy (or dystopian) landscapes. Essentially, book cover p0rn
Visiting bookshops used to be as much about the cover art as it was about the text on the pages, which is why these days seeing the dozens of dreary, completely plain covers which do absolutely NOTHING to sell the book leaves me a little cold. Further I just can't understand why publishers are going in this direction.

Stock Updates: Commercial Usage etc
Hi long time, no talk. My paper got published this month. So my species description is published yay. But I have some things to talk about concerning my stock.
I can't provide commercial licenses for everything. A lot of my stock I shot when I was in high school/first two years of undergrad. I was broke. I couldn't afford commercial permits for different sites which are often needed for stock photography that is being sold. Permits aren't needed for things that are for personal/non-commercial use. This means: Any state park stock, botanic garden stock, zoo stock or other restricted site (historical houses, etc) cannot be licensed for commerc
Hard Drive Died Y I K E S
I had my first external hard drive failure and I didn't try to do recovery in time because grad school consumes all your energy and I've effectively lost all my photos from fall 2013 to winter of 2016. I am slowly recovering what I can from social media, flash drives, other memory storage using both a recovery software and just knowing where I stash things. What this means is that all the stock that is on Deviantart is essentially the only file location of the stock I have. And I don't even know uh, if my model stock is still in storage, or uh...if I deleted it. I lost a fair amount of art photography as well so there goes my portfolio rip.
New Social Media
 Grad School started back up! Before I get swept up into classes, research, and work I wanted to talk a little bit about some new places you can find my art.
I now have an instragram! Its a work in progress and I haven't figured out how to make it look pretty haha. My instragram is Cassyblue (https://www.deviantart.com/cassyblue)_art (https://www.instagram.com/cassyblue_art/). I have been posting sketches and rough drawings on it like I do with my art tumblr (https://www.cassyblue-art.tumblr.com). I would love to follow your art Instagram if you have one!
I created a portfolio website for myself. It was a learning experience since I had to fight with wordpress. But I did
2017 In Review
I didn't have the energy to fill in the art meme for it. So here's a journal instead. I focused more on my drawing last year compared to stock and photography. Instead I'm picking art that I feel I did my best on this year. Things that I'm proud of.
2017 was great artistically for me. Otherwise it was a tough year for me. Looking forward to seeing what 2018 has in store art wise.
